Notes: This is a WWII era Remington Rand 1911A1 chambered in .45 ACP. This was made in 1945 as part of Remington Rand's last production run. This pistol has not been arsendal refurbed and is still in its original finish. The feedramp is in the white, as is correct. This has the correct High Standard barrel with HS and P markings on the barrel lug. This has the correct FJA inspector mark for Frank J. Atwood, who was the inspector at Remington Rand. This has a correct "L" stamped WWII era magazine, but there have been two holes drilled in the bottom of the baseplate for some unknown reason. The bore has strong lands and grooves and is definitely servicable. This is a beautiful original and correct WWII era 1911A1 and is sure to make a great addition to any WWII collection. We have not test fired this firearm, but all fire functions are normal per a physical inspection.
