Notes: This Springfield 1903 started life as a WWI-era service rifle, but was later converted to a deer rifle (a process known as "sporterizing". This was achieved by cutting the stock down, and adding a peep rear sight. The right-side of the receiver has also been drilled and tapped for a scope mount. The overall condition is "good", showing general signs of use and handling and some general finish loss/wear. We have not test fired this firearm, but all fire functions are normal per a physical inspection.
